Health and wellness day

Mears Merit Award

Anzio Miller with principal Thurston Brown. Anzio won 1st prize and was awarded the Mears Merit Award for obtaining the highest marks in grade 10 in 2011. The award was granted by the African Scholars Fund.

Afrikaans Award

Manenberg High is very proud of its achievement. The Afrikaans Department received an award for obtaining a 100% pass in Afrikaans First Additional Language in the 2011 Matric Exams. All the candidates passed with 40% and more. Congratulations to Mr Trevor Fortuin the Afrikaans Teacher.


Manenberg High School is involved with various activities such as: – Rugby The school has a well-established rugby team which is affiliated to the Vuka League and has strong ties with Rangers Rugby Club in Manenberg.
